Exams offered at this location are X-ray, general ultrasound, vascular ultrasound and pregnancy ultrasound. An X-ray is often the first test after a fall or a sports injury, while ultrasound looks at soft tissue and blood flow. Bring a valid Ontario requisition from your doctor or nurse practitioner, except for the few exams we offer as self-pay.

Can I walk in for an X-ray at Scarborough?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome for X-ray any time the clinic is open: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm; Saturday, 8:00am to 2:00pm. Bring your signed requisition and Ontario health card. Other exams are by appointment.

Do I need a requisition?
For OHIP-covered exams, yes. We accept a valid requisition from any licensed Ontario healthcare provider, on any form, from any clinic or hospital.
Is my exam covered by OHIP, and what if I do not have OHIP?
With a valid requisition, OHIP covers the exams offered here in full: no co-payment and nothing to claim back. Without OHIP you pay the price on our cash fee schedule, for example $85 for a chest X-ray and $145 for an abdominal ultrasound (October 2026, HST exempt). Call 416-462-0064 for the price of your exam.
